For Whom?

The EMMASCAN is developed for multi-agency collaborations that aim to tackle violent radicalization, but find it challenging to evaluate their own effectiveness.

Multi-agency work (MAW) allows for joint decision-making as response to violent radicalization. However, evaluation the effectiveness of the MAW can be challenging. To address this blind spot, EMMASCAN was formed, which is a self-evaluation tool for local officials to evaluate their own working.

The EMMASCAN needs to be filled out by all members in the MAW. The coordinator takes the first step in completing the EMMASCAN, after which the EMMASCAN is sent to all members in the MAW. The tool allows for a continuous and joint process of self-monitoring that lets you strip down the MAW to it’s bare bones. For more info, please see the manual.
